It would cost upwards of $60,000 but it would allow you to watch the Deschutes County Commissioners meetings live on the cable system. Commissioner Dennis Luke is opposed, claiming there are more cost effective ways to communicate with county residents. Luke also points to the 10 AM meeting time of commissioners as being a time when most residents are at work and would not be able to watch anyway. Staff has been told to further investigate the cost.
