It's rustic and quaint and it's 90 years old this Saturday. To celebrate, the store's current owner Roger White will be hosting a birthday party with live music and other events. The activities will begin at 10:00am, the bar-b-que will begin at 5:00pm and the cake (Of course there's a cake.) will be cut and served at 7:00pm. Roger and his wife have owned the store the past 13 seasons. When the store first opened in 1918 it was one of the first structures in central Oregon. Even from the beginning people would come to the area to recreate with fishing in the pristine Metolius River and camp.
