St. Charles Medical Center in Bend Wednesday conducted a disaster simulation to make sure its staff and other emergency people would know what to do in case a real situation occurred. Spokesperson Jeanette Sherman says the drill went pretty well, but they did discover some issues with communication… but that’s why they hold the drills. About 150 people took part in the simulation from responders to those acting as victims. Sherman says they are planning another drill in November.
