Bend’s city bus system will continue to run through – at the very least – June. That’s the direction given Wednesday night by the City Council Wednesday as they consider what to do in the face of an ever-tightening budget picture and voter rejection of a transit district. In the meantime, Councilors will examine options including a hike in fees and consider submitting a payroll tax proposal to voters.
