The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is working to assure the development of the means to cure and control CF and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease. The Foundation is one of the most effective organizations of its kind, investing nearly 90 cents of every dollar of revenue raised for CF research, care and education programs.rnrnThis year the Central Oregon Great Strides walk is being held June 15th at Sam Johnson Park in Redmond. Onsite registration and check-in is at 9:00 a.m. and the walk at 10:00 a.m. Cost to register is a donation. The 5 K walk is along the beautiful Dry Canyon Trail. This is a fun atmosphere – great for families and friends. rnrnThis is the Foundation’s biggest nationwide fundraising event; ask your friends, family and co-workers to make a donation and sponsor you on your walk, or better yet bring them with you and challenge them to see who can collect the most donations and turn them in on walk day!! rnrnPlease visit the Foundation website at: www.cff.org to learn more about CF. rn
